A slip is not a reset.
Every quit app resets you to zero after one cigarette. That's why you deleted the last one. This one doesn't.

Privacy
Forward has no account, no login, and nothing that identifies you. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
- Never leaves your phone: your answers, your plan, your quit date, your day count, your sentence, your goal and its amount, your pack price, every check-in and every slip you log. None of it is uploaded anywhere, ever.
- No tracking: no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, no profiles, no cross-app or cross-site tracking, no data sold or shared with anyone.
- Anonymous usage counts (you can switch this off): the app counts which screens get used — for example "a plan was started", "a slip was logged" — so it can be improved. Each count carries only the app version, iOS version, device model, language and a session id that is randomly generated on every launch and never stored. There is no user id, no device id, no IP-based profile, and nothing that can be tied back to you or joined across launches. Never included: your sentence, your goal name, your dates, your amounts, or the reason you gave for a slip. Turn it off in Settings → Anonymous usage stats and nothing is sent at all. Counts are processed in the EU by Aptabase.
- Purchases: handled by Apple (StoreKit). Apple tells the app whether you own it; the app never sees your payment details.
- Delete the app — or use "Delete all data" in Settings — and the data is gone.
This policy applies to the Forward iOS app, effective 30 July 2026. If it ever changes, the change will be visible on this page before an update ships.
